This week was SOO much better!! Still didn't get into many houses, BUT CHRISTINA GOT BAPTIZED!!! She's been investigating for YEARS, and has practically been an "active member" for about 2 years haha. Her husband was a less active, but he's back to activity now and got to baptize her! He is an army veteran, purple heart recipient. SUUPER awesome guy. Christina was really concerned about a few things, but she finally decided to be baptized. Elder Evensen and I literally did nothing, because she's had this date set for a few months! So we taught zero of the discussions because she had already been taught them... like over 3 or 4 times each haha. But the Lord blessed us to be able to be here for it!! 

Other than that this week, it's been pretty slow! If you aren't on a mission, you probably know about this eclipse that's happening real soon. People in Blackfoot and throughout Idaho are freaking out about it. Every time we talked to someone, they mentioned it. I think it's cool and all, but I would have never expected this much hype haha! So we have our eclipse glasses all ready and are gonna go look at the sun (with our protective eye wear of course) for a few seconds haha.

Mission life is awesome! I'm loving every day out here! Even though it's hard, really hard, I do my best everyday to be happy and have a smile on my face! If you know me, you know it's not that hard for me to be happy haha. I love and miss you all SO much and I pray for you all everyday!

I know what I'm doing is the Lord's work. I know that He is always by our side and will never leave us. If you feel abandoned, know this. Your Heavenly Father is mindful of you. He weeps when you weep. Rejoices when you rejoice. Your pleas of help do not go unheard. He is there listening, blessing and comforting you. All you need to do is listen. He is there. I can promise you that. I feel His love everyday and I know He lives! 

Doctrine and Covenants 86:5-6

5 Behold, this is the promise of the Lord unto you, O ye my servants.

6 Wherefore, be of good cheer, and do not fear, for I the Lord am with you, and will stand by you; and ye shall bear record of me, even Jesus Christ, that I am the Son of the living God, that I was, that I am, and that I am to come.
