P-days are interesting... I have all these things in my head I want to email about and such throughout the week, then I forget about them on Monday haha. Today is gonna be sweet because Elder Williams and I are going to go get foot-zones from a member WOOT. It's like reflexology type stuff. I don't even know but I hope it's good!!!
This weekend was full of awesome church broadcasts!! We had the Meridian Idaho Temple cultural celebration, the dedication and a Face2Face event! The celebration was pretty fun. The songs were so funny. They literally had a farming song about irrigation and such haha. We were dying laughing when it came on. Then the temple dedication! It was AMAZING. The spirit was so strong when we sang the hymn The Spirit of God. I've never felt the spirit stronger in my entire life then at that moment. The Lord truly was receiving His house as we dedicated it unto Him.
We also got a new investigator! We were early to an appointment and decided to knock their neighbors. We knocked a door and this guy answered and we talked to him and found out he didn't know much about the church, but was kinda interested. He accepted a Book of Mormon and said he'd read it and we set up an appointment to come back tomorrow!! We are PRAYING he is ready and willing to accept our message!
Also yes, we ARE being fed on Thanksgiving. I have lost count as to how many people have asked us if we have one scheduled. If we said yes to all of them, we'd need like a weeks worth of Thanksgiving dinners haha.
Well I love you all so much and am so grateful for everything I have and the chance I have to serve my Heavenly Father for a short two years (20 months now). The church is so true and God lives!
