Ok this week. SO GOOD. In our mission, we have something called the mission vision. One thing that has stood out to me this week as I have been reflecting on it a lot is this...
"We also want to Experience the Joy of Saving Souls, changing our hearts and becoming eternal missionaries who forever follow the Master."
I have been reflecting on this a lot recently. How can I truly change my heart? How can I develop a stronger desire to follow "the Master" eternally? I truly believe that it is through complete and 100% diligence and obedience. Without obedience we wouldn't have any of the truths of the Gospel. Without those who were obedient to spiritual promptings, we wouldn't have the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love this work. I don't have a desire to go home. I have dedicated my life to serving the Lord and His children and am entirely willing to do whatever He asks me to do. I know He can deliver me from my trials and "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (Philippians 4:13). The people I've met, lessons I've learned and growth I have experienced here is something I will cherish my entire life.
I have had so many spiritual experiences this week. I have felt the love of God immensely throughout this week. I continually re-dedicate and consecrate myself to His work daily. I truly am loving the people and my heart is changing.
Everyone who reads this, no matter who you are. I want you to know this one thing... God loves you. He cares for you. He knows your name. I testify that He lives. He sent His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ to suffer for us and die. I know that Jesus is the Christ. He lives today. He has a glorified resurrected body. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His true church once again established on the earth today. The Book of Mormon truly is the word of God!
I love you all so much and miss you all mucho! Till next week! (I better have some emails from those you haven't emailed me in a while/ever next week)
