February 26, 2018

Well this week was ultra interesting. It's been snowing a lot here. Probably 8-9 inches in the past few days, and it's super windy so we're getting some nice drifts too! I don't mind the snow but I DO mind the cold haha. We're trucking a lot though! Pain is just weakness leaving the body #gainz

Well we got transfer calls this weekend and me and my companion Elder Child will be staying together AND joined by another missionary! His name is Elder Garcia-Sanchez. He is from Mexico and is almost finished with his mission! We'll be in a trio (3 missionaries) for a few weeks until Elder Child goes home. So we gotta break out the extra bed and closet space for a few weeks.

Cool story... We went to lunch at a burger joint and some guy called my companion over and said to order and he'll pay for us. So we did and we just sat and talked and he was a mission president in Iowa in like '04 which was cool. He gave us super good missionary advice, then we left. We were at district meeting the next day and the Sister told us that he is the Idaho Area Seventy haha. His name is Dirk Driscoll. We had no idea! He was so humble and nice.

Our investigators are good! We put Avery, the 9 year old, on date this week! She is SO excited for baptism. Her baptism is March 24th and we're so excited! We hope this helps her mom come back into activity.

SO to the part in my subject about me not being disobedient. Our mission is now authorized to use Facebook! So if you see me online, I'm not being disobedient, I'm allowed to be haha. Unless I'm sending you Farmville requests, then I'm being disobedient and chastise me. I am not allowed to post or message people yet so don't get offended if I don't respond haha.

Well friends and family I love you all so much! Pray for me, they are needed haha! Till next week!
