March 26, 2018

Hello friends and family! This week has been awesome! Besides the cold and rain, I'm loving it. Well Aevery got baptized on Saturday! It was an awesome service. Her mom, Tawnna, is less-active but coming back into activity! The Church has zero records of her being baptized when she was 8 soooo we may have to baptize her again haha! Which would be awesome! I got the opportunity to baptize Aevery, which was amazing!

Not much other than that happened, but we found a soccer ball! Lol. We are going to Pocatello today to shop for some much needed shtuff and finally get to go to a zone activity haha. Super pumped!

Sorry this email is so lame and I have like no photos. We've been working super hard everyday and totally focused on the work! I've been studying super hard this week on lots of things. Mainly humility (which I need a lot of) and the book of Matthew in the New Testament. HOLY COW. Christ's ministry is full of humility, service, and love. He really is the ultimate example! One thing that stood out to me a lot was in Matthew 14:30-31...

30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

Here Peter doubts when he sees all the things going on around him. EVEN WITH JESUS CHRIST RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM, HE DOUBTED. I think we can be like Peter a lot... doubting ourselves even when we know the Savior is right there. What amazes me is the next verse. Christ immediately stretches his hand out and catches him! All Peter did was ASK. Everyone reading this, listen up. All we have to do is ask, and Christ will catch us. I know 99.99% that he will. That .01% is that doubt that Peter felt. And doubt is ok. The Lord doesn't expect us to know 100%. That's where faith comes in. Faith isn't "to have a perfect knowledge." Have faith in Him. That's all he wants from us! He fills in the gaps, because He is perfect! He knows fully how to help us, I promise he does! He has helped me immensely in my life because I asked...

Love you all! Email me!!!!!!!
