Two hour church is way better than I thought as well!!!! I did feel weird being done after Sunday School, but I like it. It's a lot easier to bring people to church as well!

This week was STELLAR. It started by taking 2 of our investigators to the temple! We called the temple president and he did a little 5 minute devotional with them. We then went into the visitors center, and took a tour which was amazing! I hadn't taken a tour in such a long time of any visitors center, so that was good. We then had a lesson there and put both of them on date for the 19th! They even picked the day! It's a mom and her daughter. The mom struggles with smoking but has started to quit! She's doing a pill treatment type thing where she takes a pill a day and it's supposed to help you quit. She hasn't had a cigarette since Wednesday (which is the day she was supposed to quit according to the program AND the day we went to the temple, coincidence I think NOT.)

On Sunday we had a guy walk into church with his brother-in-law that isn't a member but just got out of prison. We went over to talk to him after sacrament meeting and he said he's wanting to change his life. We gave him a triple combination that we by chance had on us and set an appointment for later that day right after church. We taught the Restoration and focused a lot on authority. Without priesthood authority, we literally can't to anything. I don't know of any scripture in the Bible that says you don't need authority and that just the Bible is enough for authority (The Bible was also compiled way after everything was written).

On Thursday, Elder Williams and I got to go back to our first area together, Blackfoot West Stake!!!!! Our sole purpose was to help increase the work there. We had lunch with one of our favorite people, Bob! We did a finding activity with 2 other of our favorite families in that area and visited plenty of members we knew. The great thing about it was we didn't really chit chat with many of them! We told them our purpose is to help them share the gospel and we did! We got lots of referrals and are following up with them today. It was way weird to go back to my first area. It had been a long time since I've been there and felt like I never left.

This week, we found out our mission boundaries are being changed on the 1st of July. I'll send a photo of the new boundaries. The Idaho Nampa Mission is being dissolved and our mission is taking lots of the Idaho Boise Mission. We will be adding 15 new stakes going west and north a bit. So our mission will now cover 4 states! Idaho, Utah, Wyoming and now Nevada! It'll be around a 5 hour drive from one end of the mission to the other, so quite a drive ha! Our President called a last minute meeting the day before to have the conference so that was kinda stressful hah! The Assistants didn't get home until around 11 PM. We got home around 10:30, BUT IT WAS APPROVED DON'T WORRY.

A new years resolution that I've decided to do is to not only read the Book of Mormon everyday, and to study it of course, but to create a Book of Mormon journal! Where I write my thoughts and the principles and other things I've learned. I've made it a new years resolution but want to continue to do it everyday, forever! I know the power that comes in reading the Book of Mormon. This past week of doing this and recording my impressions have really increased my devotion to the Book of Mormon. I never want to go a day without reading it! It absolutely has kept me closer to my Savior and His spirit. I feel guided daily and more receptive to promptings that come. Even though I mess up and don't follow promptings sometimes, I know the Lord is merciful. So incredibly merciful that He WANTS us to repent because He will forgive us if we are sincere. I love my Savior. He has brought me so much light and comfort while I have been serving Him. I want everyone to feel of His healing power. One of my favorite scriptures in the Book of Mormon is in 3 Nephi 25:2, "But unto you that fear my name, shall the Son of Righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth and grow up as calves in the stall." Christ can heal us and will. All we have to do is ask and trust. Try it. It'll be the greatest thing you've ever done!
