Another full week here in Soda Springs. Probably the busiest week (administration wise) of my mission. We had exchanges with the Assistants in Pocatello on Monday, then we had MLC on Friday, and I went on exchanges with a district leader on Saturday!! Elder Damms, my companion, was only in our area for 2 days this week haha. It's been quite crazy! We got transfer information and Elder Damms and I are staying together for another transfer. I'll be in Soda Springs for 6 months at the end of the transfer! I love it here and I know there's A LOT of potential. I've been doing MUCH better at the little obedience factors. I've found myself having less of a desire to check Facebook, or be a little lazy. I'm definitely not lazy, just not being productive 100% of the time. This week really helped me learn it though! I basically had no time to do anything but missionary work or even really think about other things. Which I LIKE.
Few things from this week... We got the cops called on us while trying to contact a few prospective elders, went on exchanges with Elder Williams (the one I trained who is an Assistant now) and had an INCREDIBLE day! It was awesome to be somewhere else and see how other missionaries work. It's some of my favorite things!
Winter is approaching! It snowed all day yesterday but didn't stick. We were in meetings basically all day and had a lesson in the evening so it didn't really effect us. I've adjusted to the weather pretty well too! I can wear short sleeves in most circumstances, but I'll wear a long sleeve if it's colder. I prayed for the longest time that I'd be able to adjust and not have the cold be a problem, and it hasn't! I love snow, just not a big fan of cold haha. Winter is way different as a missionary, because you're out all day. You can't just go inside in a snowstorm, it's not how it works! Rain or shine, snow or hail, we are out working!!!! I love it though, it makes me feel more like a missionary.
I'm loving life and couldn't be happier! It feels weird how fast my mission is going and I DO NOT LIKE IT. I don't like thinking about home, or talking about it that much anymore because it's getting closer and I don't want it to. I'll just be a missionary forever, ok thanks!!!
Love you mom!!!!
